Boys varsity soccer tryouts 10/20
The Valley Christian boys
soccer program will be holding varsity tryouts starting October 20th, at
8am. There is a teacher's convention that day, and no school.
The tryouts will run from
8am - 10am, and will be held on the soccer field at Valley Christian.
Starting on Monday the 23rd, tryouts will continue from 3:15 - 5:15,
location to be determined.
The tryouts are open to
sophomores, juniors, and seniors until 11/5. After this date,
freshman are allowed to tryout for varsity if they'd like.
Freshman can attend varsity tryouts, but they will not be allowed to
participate.
The following is a list of
things you should bring to tryouts:
- A completed physical must
be turned in before you can participate! A new physical must be
done every year, no exceptions. If you played a fall sport, your
physical WILL transfer.
- Soccer cleats
- Shin guards
- Running shoes
- Soccer socks
You do NOT need to bring a
soccer ball. The team has plenty.
Please make every attempt
to come to tryouts in shape!
Final note: If you
are currently playing a fall sport, on any level, you will be allowed to
tryout late. Please email
John@vcsoccer.com if you plan to tryout for the varsity team, and
you are playing a fall sport.
