#3 Joey Stryker -- Class of '06 -- Mid/F
Season Outlook
Joey is beginning his third season with
the VC varsity team, and was named to the WCAL All-League 2nd team last
season. His ball control and passing ability give him
the ability to play multiple positions on the field.
Junior
Year
Playing a key role in
nearly every game, Joey contributed 4 goals and 1 assist. His goal
in the first round of the CCS Playoffs vs. Hillsdale brought the
Warriors level at 2-2.
Sophomore Year
In an strong sophomore
season, Stryker had a great goal vs. Bellarmine in a 3-2 loss. At
the time, his goal put the Warriors ahead.
Personal Info
Joey has a sister, Krista, who played at
VC last year. He plans to continue his soccer career in
college at either Cal Poly, Azusa Pacific, or Seattle Pacific University.
He has a 3.4 GPA and enjoys surfing, and wakeboarding.
