#4 Austin Keeling -- Class of '06 -- Mid - Captain
Season Outlook
Austin is beginning his third season with
the VC varsity team, this year as a Captain. His field vision and passing ability
have cemented him as a starter in the center of midfield, and his lethal
shot will give opposing 'keepers trouble all year. A natural
leader, Austin will look to captain the Warriors to their 4th straight
CCS appearance.
Junior Year
Austin scored 1 goal, and
had one assist in his Junior season. These stats, however, hardly
show his importance to the team. A deft passes who controls the
defensive midfield, he's become one of the league's top players.
His goal at Serra last year won the game, and essentially put the
Warriors in the CCS playoffs.
Sophomore Year
In an impressive sophomore
season, Austin played a key role in VC's success. He registered an
assist vs. Riordan in the first round of the WCAL playoffs.
Personal Info
Austin has a sister, and plans to attend
Arizona State University.
