Coggan’s 2nd
Assist helps #10 SPU to 7th straight win. (10/4)
Jimmy Coggan set up the goal that tied
the score in the 24th minute in the eventual 3-2 victory over Humboldt
State, on Saturday. Seattle Pacific scored again less than a minute
later and a third goal in the 56th minute sealed the win. For Coggan,
his 1 goal and 2 assists put him in the top 20 for scoring in the GNAC
(Great Northwest Athletic Conference).
For SPU (9-1-1, 2-0), the win keeps them on a 7 game winning streak that
has put then at #10 in NCAA DII. An October 8 league contest with #4
Seattle University (9-0-1) is shaping up to be the game of the year for
